Sales Access Security Overview

The Sales Access Security field in the Point of Sale Control Settings enables you to require users to specify their password before accessing certain sales reports and inquiries, and also allows you, via the View All Sales Information field in Create a User/Group Actions - Sales Security, to restrict users' access to only their own sales or to sales from the location to which they are currently logged.

To activate Sales Access Security, check the box at the Sales Access Security field in the Point of Sale Control Settings. When Sales Access Security is active, users must specify their password to access the following routines:

View All Sales Information Field

When Sales Access Security is active, you can use the View All Sales Information field in Create a User/Group Actions - Sales Security settings to further restrict a user's access to data in sales reports affected by Sales Access Security.
