Report Extended Warranties About to Expire
(Expiring Extended Warranties Report)
Access
This report shows all extended warranties
that are due to expire during a specified date range. Listed on the report
are soon-to-expire (or recently expired) extended warranties, along with
the Names, Home Phone, and Work Phone of the customers who can then be
contacted about renewals. The display can include warranty coverage of
Parts or Labor or both. You can select a time period for expiration dates
of up to 120 days in the future. Once the run-time options have been selected,
choose Run to produce the report.
District
Warehouse LocationIf you
are not reporting by District, you must indicate at least one warehouse
location to be included on the report. You can enter the code directly
in this field, or click the arrow button to select a location from the
list. If you click the action button, you access the Multiple
Location Selection Window, which you can use to select one, multiple,
or all locations to report.
Report TypeChoose
whether you want to include warranties for Parts products only, for Labor
products only, or for Both labor and parts products.
Days Before ExpirationWarranties
due to expire in the number of days (from today) you enter here, are listed
on the report. You can enter a number from 1-120 in this field. For example,
if today is 10/10 and you enter 10 in this field, warranties due to expire
on or before 10/20 are listed.
SalespersonYou can
limit the report by one or more salespersons or you can leave the field
blank to report on all salespeople. Enter the code of a single salesperson
directly in this field, or click the search button to select a salesperson
from the list. If you click the action button, you access the Multiple
Salesperson Selection Window, from which you can select one or more
salesperson codes.
Send Output
toThe output destination of
the report displays. To change the output destination, click on
the Actions button and select Output
Settings.
Export PathIf you
select either the Personal
Report Viewer ( PRV), Excel Export,
or ASCII Export, this field displays the pre-set computer drive and folder
location to which the system exports the report data. You cannot edit
the export path using this process.
