Report Salesperson's Warranty Activity
(Salesperson Batting Average Report)
Access
This report compares the quantity and dollar value
of warranties
sold by a salesperson with the quantity and dollar value of the warranties
the salesperson could have sold. The difference is expressed in absolute
numbers, percentages, and averages. You can sort salesperson codes in
ascending or descending order and include or exclude a summary by salesperson,
by location, or both. The report breaks on warranty category. Once the
run-time options have been selected, choose Run
to produce the report.
This report excludes returns and exchange returns.
Warranty CategoryYou can
limit the report to one or more warranty
categories, or you can leave the field blank to report on all warranty
categories. If you click the action button, the Multiple
Warranty Category Selection Window appears from which you can select
one or multiple warranty categories to report.
Date CodeClick on the Arrow button
to view a list of date
codes, then select the code that best indicates the time period on
which to base your report.
Start DateIf you
select CUS at the Date Code field, you activate this field. Use
this field to specify the start date of the custom date range for which
you want to run this report. If you click on the Calendar
Icon, you can select a date from the calendar that appears.
If you select another date
code instead of CUS, this field fills in based on that selection and
you cannot edit this field.
End DateIf you
select CUS at the Date Code field, you activate this field. Use
this field to specify the end date of the custom date range for which
you want to run this report. If you click on the Calendar
Icon, you can select a date from the calendar that appears.

SalespersonYou can
limit the report by one or more salespersons or you can leave the field
blank to report on all salespeople. Enter the code of a single salesperson
directly in this field, or click the search button to select a salesperson
from the list. If you click the action button, the Multiple
Salesperson Selection Window appears from which you can select one
or more salesperson codes.
District
Warehouse LocationIf you
are not reporting by District, you must indicate at least one warehouse
location whose activity is to be included on the report. You can enter
the code directly in this field, or click the arrow button to select a
location from the list. If you click the action button, the Multiple
Location Selection Window appears from which you can select one, multiple,
or all locations to report.
Product GroupYou can
limit the report by one or more product
groups, or you can leave the field blank to report on all product
groups. Enter the code of a single product group directly in this field,
or click the search button to select a group from the list. If you click
the action button, the Multiple
Group Selection Window appears from which you can select one or more
product group codes. If you make a selection at this field, the Product
Category field becomes inactive.
Product CategoryYou can
limit the report by one or more product
categories, or you can leave the field blank to report on all product
categories. Enter the code of a single category directly in this field,
or click the search button to select a category from the list. If you
click the action button, the Multiple
Category Selection Window appears from which you can select one or
more category codes.
Sort Salespeople ByIndicate
whether to sort salesperson data Ascending or Descending order within
each location.
Include Summary
Send Output toThe output
destination of the report displays. To change the output destination,
click on the Actions button and select Output
Settings.
Export PathIf you
select either the Personal
Report Viewer (PRV), Excel Export,
or ASCII Export, this field displays the pre-set computer drive and folder
location to which the system exports the report data. You cannot edit
the export path using this process.
