If you select CUS (Custom) at the Date Code field, you activate the Start Date and End Date fields (or in some routines, the As-Of Date field or the Starting Date field), into which you can enter the starting and ending dates of a date range (or an as-of or starting date). You can also accept the default dates. If you do not select CUS, the date code you select determines the dates.
