Files: Zip Code.
Use this file to maintain information on salespeople
within your company. The order entry routines provide for the entry of
a salesperson code and accept only codes that have been established within
this file. Therefore, use this routine to enter your salespeople into
the system. We suggest that the salesperson code match the operator's
initials specified in the Create a User
file.
STORIS comes delivered with a "House" salesperson
account (ZZZ). If your system is set up to default a salesperson
code during order entry (that is, if the box is blank at the Do Not Default
Salesperson field in the Point
of Sale Control Settings), the system first checks the Salesperson
1 and Salesperson 2 fields in the Customer
Settings to find a default salesperson for the selected customer.
If those fields are empty, the House account defaults.
You cannot delete salespersons for whom activity exists in the system,
including Up
System activity.
