Reassign Customers
Access
Use this routine to reassign one or more customers to a different salesperson, for example if the original salesperson leaves your company. Note that customers must have existing contact records to be eligible for selection by this program .
This routine changes the salesperson number in the customer file that in turn switches the Contact and Lead records to reference this new salesperson.
Current SalespersonEnter the code of the salesperson who currently maintains the customers you want to transfer. If you click on the Search button, you access the Salesperson Lookup window, from which you can make a selection.
New SalespersonEnter the code of the salesperson to whom you want to transfer the sales leads. If you click on the Search button, you access the Salesperson Lookup window, from which you can make a selection.
Current SalespersonEnter the code of the salesperson who currently maintains the contacts you want to transfer. If you click on the Search button, you access the Salesperson Lookup window, from which you can make a selection.
New SalespersonEnter the code of the salesperson to whom you want to transfer the contacts. If you click on the Search button, you access the Salesperson Lookup window, from which you can make a selection.
