Use this routine to enter new sales leads and maintain existing leads. To produce specific lists of sales leads and report on existing sales leads, use the Manage Sales Leads routine.
The InTouch CRM Overview contact management feature has its own set of security restrictions designed to protect sales leads from unauthorized users. These restrictions are distinct from the security restrictions you can apply using the Regional Processing feature, although the two features can overlap.
STORIS allows only one active lead for each customer or contact.
To close a lead, select Delete in the Action Taken field then select a reason in the Reason Entry window that appears.
Users with either district or store manager access (via Create a User CRM InTouch security settings) can create a new sales lead or edit an existing sales lead for an existing contact. The lead they create/edit must be for locations to which they have access. Users with this access can also assign another salesperson to the lead.
A salesperson can only open an existing sales lead if they are the salesperson stored in the contact's record.
