Use this routine to view and/or print the contents of the Customer Activity Log for a selected customer. This log is an internal file STORIS uses to track changes to customer records. The file also includes comments entered by STORIS users via the Update Comments option on this screen.
If you check the box at the Audit All Customer Activity field in the Accounts Receivable Control Settings, the system logs all changes to customer records, for example the following:
changes to the Customer Settings
shopping cart activity
billing updates
revolving plans removed from dispute during EOD
changes that caused statements to be placed on hold
on hold customer and revolving statements generated and/or printed
import comments (e.g. third-party data)
You can import comments via the Import Data process. These comments are identified on this screen by the text 'Imported Comments'. If the User ID column in the import spreadsheet is blank, the initials default based on the process that runs the import:
On Demand - defaults to the logged in user's initials
Schedule a Process - defaults to the user's initials running the phantom
End of Day (Manually) - defaults to the user's initials running end of day
End
of Day (Automated) - defaults to EODC
To include changes to the
Customer Settings in this log, you must select the Customer file in the
Track Settings
Activity routine.
The system purges the Customer Activity Log based on the Customer Retention
Months field on the Customer tab in the Point
of Sale Control Settings.
