Use this inquiry to view and/or print order document detail for existing sales documents including the following:
Select the documents you want to view by order number. The information shown in this inquiry is identical to the original order entry screens. However, you cannot modify orders using this process. Instead, you must use the entry version of the routine.
Once you specify an order number, the document information displays in the same format as the original order entry screens. The type of document you select (order, return, exchange, etc.) determines the format of the display screen.
To view transfer documents, use the View
an Existing Transfer (Transfer Inquiry) program.
The output of this report may be affected by Regional
Processing restrictions. That is, you can inquire only about customers
and locations to which you have access.
If the Automated & Manual POS Numbers field on the Miscellaneous page
in Warehouse/Store
Location Settings is blank and you enter a completed or voided order
number at the Order Number prompt in the Enter
a Sales Order process, you have the option of viewing the order in
read-only mode. Once you indicate the order number, a message appears
stating that the order exists and asks if you want to view it in inquiry
mode. You can answer Yes to view the read-only version of the order or
you can answer No to reenter the number.
