Report Service Problem Activity
(Service Call Analysis Report)
Access
Use this report to analyze products that appear
on multiple service lines. The "Number of Calls Considered Excessive"
criteria limits the report to products that have as many or a greater
number of service lines than indicated in this field. The Detail version
of this report includes open and completed service orders. The Summary
version includes summarized totals for open service orders.
The output of this report may be affected by Regional
Processing restrictions. That is, you can inquire only about customers
and locations to which you have access.
The run-time options for this report are:
Date CodeClick
on the Arrow button to view a list of date
codes, then select the code that best indicates the time period on
which to base your report.
Start DateIf you
select CUS at the Date Code field, you activate this field. Use
this field to specify the start date of the custom date range for which
you want to run this report. If you click on the Calendar
Icon, you can select a date from the calendar that appears.
If you select another date
code instead of CUS, this field fills in based on that selection and
you cannot edit this field.
End DateIf you
select CUS at the Date Code field, you activate this field. Use
this field to specify the end date of the custom date range for which
you want to run this report. If you click on the Calendar
Icon, you can select a date from the calendar that appears.
If you select another date
code instead of CUS, this field fills in based on that selection and
you cannot edit this field.
Number of Calls Considered ExcessiveIf a number
is entered in this field, products with at least this number of service
lines will appear on the report.
ProductThis field is used to indicate
the product or products to be included in this report. One, multiple,
or all products may be selected. To report on a single product, enter
the code of the product in this field. If you click on the Search
button, you access the Product/Description/Vendor
Model Word Search window, from which you can choose a product. To
create a specific list of products for this report, use the Multiple
Product Selection screen, available from the Action
button. To report on all products, leave this field blank.
Brand, Group, CategoryThese
fields are used to indicate the Brand, Group, and Category to include
on this report. For each field, one, multiple, or all may be selected.
To report on a single brand, group, or category, enter the specific brand,
group, or category code, or click the Search
button to select from the list. To create a specific list of brand, group,
or category codes for this report, use the Multiple
Brand/Group/Category Selection screen available from the Action button. To report on all
brands/groups/categories, leave the field blank.
Service LocationEnter the locations you want
to include in this report. If you know the code of the location, enter
it directly. If you click on the Arrow, you can choose a location from
the list that appears. If you select Multiple Locations from the list,
you access the Multiple
Locations Selection Window, from which you can choose one or more
locations. You can also access the Multiple Locations Selection window
if you click on the Action button. If
you click on the Search button in the Multiple Locations Selection Window,
you access the Multiple Selection Lookup Window. Use this window to select
all locations (that is, all locations available to you) by clicking on
Select All.
At this and any other Location field, the locations
you see (that is, the list of locations available to you) may be affected
by Regional
Processing restrictions.
TechnicianThis field
is used to indicate the technician or technicians to be included in this
report. One, multiple, or all technicians may be selected. To report on
a single technician, enter the specific staff code of the technician,
or click the Search button to
select from the list. To create a specific list of technicians for this
report, use the Staff Selection
screen available from the Action
button. To report on all technicians, leave the field blank.
CoordinatorThis field
is used to indicate the coordinator or coordinators to be included in
this report. One, multiple, or all coordinators may be selected. To report
on a single coordinator, enter the specific staff code of the coordinator,
or click the Search button to
select from the list. To create a specific list of coordinators for this
report, use the Staff Selection
screen available from the Action
button. To report on all coordinators, leave the field blank.
Problem CodeThis field
is used to indicate the problem code or problem codes to be included in
this report. One, multiple, or all problem codes may be selected. To report
on a single problem code, enter the problem code or click the Search
button to select from the list. To create a specific list of problem codes
for this report, use the Multiple Problem
Selection screen available from the Action
button. To report on all problem codes, leave the field blank.
Primary SortThis field indicates the
item by which the report data will be sorted first. Select the primary
sort criteria from the drop-down list at this field.
Secondary SortThis field
indicates the item by which the report data will be sorted second. Select
the secondary sort criteria from the drop-down list at this field. If
no secondary sort is desired, leave the field blank or choose None
Selected.
Tertiary SortThis field
indicates the item by which the report data will be sorted third. Select
the tertiary sort criteria from the drop-down list at this field. If no
tertiary sort is desired, leave the field blank or choose None
Selected.
Detail or Summary
Primary Break-onThis field
indicates the item by which the report data will first break. Select the
primary break criteria from the drop-down list at this field.
Secondary Break-on, Tertiary Break-onThese
fields are used to indicate the items by which the report data will break
second/third. Select the secondary/tertiary break criteria from the drop-down
list at this field. If no secondary or tertiary break on is desired, leave
the field blank or choose None Selected.
Send Output
toThe output destination of
the report displays. To change the output destination, click on
the Actions button and select Output
Settings.
Export PathIf you
select either the Personal
Report Viewer (PRV), Excel Export,
or ASCII Export, this field displays the pre-set computer drive and folder
location to which the system exports the report data. You cannot edit
the export path using this process.

Once the run-time options have been selected,
choose Run to produce the report.
