Customer Legal Settings

Access

Use this routine to indicate the legal status of the customer's account. You can use these settings to track and report the status of the account and determine any additional steps that are required for that account. You check the box next to each status that applies to this customer.

Depending on your Legal Code Settings, additional actions may occur when you check one of these legal settings. These actions include closing the customer account, holding the customer's receivables statements, and/or excluding the customer from mailing lists and emails.

Options set here may impact codes for Report Metro 2 Customer Credit History.

If a check appears at the Automatic Display of Legal Settings field in the Accounts Receivable Control Settings, the Customer Legal Settings - Read Only screen appears in the following routines for customers for which one or more Customer Legal Settings have been specified:
