Report Merchandising Activity
Access
This report displays on-hand
quantities for each product, from selected vendors, broken
down by both store and warehouse location. The report also displays replacement
and average
costs and freight factors. Price and markup data appear along with
delivered (or written) sales figures and incoming purchase order information.
Once the run-time options have been selected, choose Run
to produce the report.
The report includes a detail line for a given location if any of the
following are true:
A saleable
or non-saleable quantity-on-hand exists at the location.
A quantity-reserved exists
at the location.
A quantity has been sold this
month from the location.
A quantity has been sold this
year from the location.
Floor samples exist at the
location.
A net-available quantity exists
for the location.
The
output of this report may be affected by Regional
Processing restrictions.
VendorSpecify the code of the vendor
for which you want to run this report. If you leave this field blank,
the system selects all vendors for the report. If you click on the Search button, you access the Vendor Cross
Reference window, which you can use to make a selection. If you click
on the Action button, you access the Multiple
Vendor Select window, which you can use to select one or more vendors.
GroupEnter the code of the product
group for which you want to run this report. If you leave this field blank,
the system selects all product groups for the report. If you click on
the Search button, you access
the Product
Group Lookup window, which you can use to make a selection. If you
click on the Action button, you
access the Multiple
Product Group Select window, which you can use to select one or more
groups.
Category
CollectionEnter
the code of the product collection for which you want to run this report.
If you leave this field blank, the system selects all product collections
for the report. If you click on the Search
button, you access the Product
Collection Lookup window, which you can use to make a selection. If
you click on the Action button,
you access the Multiple
Product Collection Select window, which you can use to select one
or more collections.
RegionEnter
the code of the region to which you want to restrict this report. If you
leave this field blank, the system selects all regions for the report.
If you click on the Arrow button,
a list of regions appears from which you can choose. If you click on the
Action button, you access the
Multiple
Region Selection Window, which you can use to select one or more regions.
If you select one or more regions at this field. the report searches the
District
and Regional Product Settings for additional costs such as freight
and add-on costs and adds them to the replacement cost (that is, the Rep
column) for each product on the report. If you select a single region,
the report adds costs based on that region for each product. If you select
multiple regions, the report adds costs based on the region associated
with the log-on user's log-on location.
This field is active only if Regional
Processing is active on your system. If Regional
Processing is active, you can select only the regions to which you
have access via the Location Restrictions tab in the User
file.

Sort By Primary, Secondary, TertiaryIf you
click the arrow button at each sort field, you can select the primary,
secondary, and tertiary sort criteria. You can select Buying Group, Vendor,
Category, Group, or Collection.
Purchase Status
Include As-Is QuantityIf you
enable this feature, the report includes As-Is items in the quantity-on-hand
quantities at the warehouse level.
Include Products With No ActivityTo include
products with no activity (that is, products that have never appeared
on purchase or sales orders), check the box at this field. Otherwise,
leave the field blank.
Include Product's Second DescriptionTo include
a product's second description in the report display, check the box at
this field. Otherwise, leave the box blank. If you check the box
at this field, the second description displays beneath the product line.
Output toThe output
destination of the report displays. To change the output destination,
click on the Actions button and select Output
Settings.
Export PathIf you
select either the Personal
Report Viewer (PRV), Excel Export,
or ASCII Export, this field displays the pre-set computer drive and folder
location to which the system exports the report data. You cannot edit
the export path using this process.
