Use this routine to set your preferences for the

moneys owed to your operation by third-party finance companies. STORIS
can track credit card companies, as well as vendor or finance companies
such as AVCO and HFC.
Receivables
Number of Days HistoryThis is
the number of days to retain FR history of closed transactions. Closed
transactions that are older than the number of days entered here will
be purged from the system during End-of-Month processing. If this field
is left blank, history records will be deleted during the next End of
Month.
Next Reference NumberUse this
field to specify the next reference number you want to assign when manual
adjustments create receivable records. After each use, this number increments.
If you leave this field blank, operators must enter a reference number
when entering transactions.
Next Deposit NumberIf deposit
numbers are to be system assigned automatically, this field must contain
the next number to be used. If this field is left blank, the operator
will be required to enter deposit numbers manually.
Display Customer Name
Default Due DaysThis field
determines the number of days (0-99) from the transaction date that the
financed amount is due from the company. After this number of days has
passed, the amount due will be considered past due.
Number of Aging DaysThe setting
in this field determines the number of days to be represented in each
aging “bucket” on the Trial Balance report. Typical entry for this field
is 30, as aging is usually performed in increments of 30 days.
Allow Deposits on Stock MdseIf you
select this option, the system does not check the merchandise type when
a user enters a financed deposit. The program checks the maximum deposit
percentage using the merchandise subtotal. If you leave this field blank,
the program restricts third-party financed deposits to special-order merchandise
only. You define the maximum deposit percentage in the Financing
Payment Plan Settings.
