This routine is a STORIS standard DTS inquiry. You can modify its contents via the Dynamic Tab Settings (DTS Setup) routine, but you cannot delete it. Since DTSs are user-defined and changeable, the descriptions in this topic may not match the DTS you see on your screen. This topic describes the DTS as it appears when you first install STORIS.

The output of this inquiry may be affected by Regional Processing restrictions. That is, you can inquire only about customers and locations to which you have access.

A counter next to the Product field indicates a product list is currently active. The counter indicates which record in the list is currently being edited and the total number of records in the list. Use the Previous and Next buttons to move between items on the list.

Transactions for Serial-Tracked products list individually for each piece. Products not serial-tracked display a single line representing the entire group of pieces involved in the transaction. The number of months to retain Kardex history on the system is determined by the setting in the Kardex History Months field in the Inventory Control Settings.

This inquiry provides transaction activity information for a specific product, broken down by store/warehouse location. If the Inventory Tracking field in the Product record is active, the Kardex System records all activity for those products. Otherwise, the system does not keep a Kardex record of each transaction for that product.

The following tabs are standard to this DTS inquiry. After you specify a product to view, information on the product appears on the screen. Click on the other tabs to view additional information.

Enter the code of the product you want to view. If you click on the Search button, you access the Search for a Product window, from which you can choose a product or create a list of products to view.

Once you select a product, the following display-only fields are populated:

Vendor Model - The vendor model for the selected product appears, provided the log-on user has a check at the Search for vendors, view vendor name and model numbers field in the Extended Security settings. Otherwise, the vendor model does not display.
