Transfer Management View

Use this routine to view and manage open transfer orders. The grid lists open transfer orders based on your selections on the previous screen. You can select a line from the grid and view a read-only copy of the order or edit the order, depending on your security settings. The ATP-related grid columns are only populated when the Calculate ATP Dates setting is enabled (checked) in the previous screen.

If your security access setting is enabled, user settings determine whether you can view your own data, only data for your login store, or access all data.

Each row in the grid corresponds to information related to an individual order and associated detail lines.

TRF From - location where transfer originates
TRF To - location receiving transfer
Route Code - transfer route code indicated on the order
Customer Name - For auto-transfers, this is the name of the customer from the linked sales order in Last Name, First Name format. For stock transfers, this is the description from the transfer-to location settings.
Transfer Number - transaction ID for transfer
TRF Type - The type of transfer order displays: Stock, As-Is, Floor Sample, Move to As-Is, or Auto.
DEL Date - If there are multiple delivery dates, the first date is displayed.
ORD QTY - quantity ordered; rounded up if product sold in fractions of the selling unit
B/O QTY - quantity on back-order
ATP BOQ - The back-ordered quantity when the fulfillment date(s) is before the ATP date. This shows how many pieces result in a broken delivery date promise. This column is set to zero if 1) the quantity ordered and the quantity committed are the same, or 2) the ATP date is less than or equal to the item's delivery date (i.e. ATP date exists and the pieces will be available before the delivery date). If the ATP date or the item delivery date is not available, or if the pieces will be late, this column is calculated as: back ordered quantity = quantity ordered - quantity committed. For products that are case conversions: back ordered quantity = back ordered quantity / product unit of measure conversion unit. Fractions are rounded up.
ATP Days E(-)/L - Indication of how early (displayed as a negative value) or late (displayed as a positive value) an order is by comparing the fulfillment date to the ATP date. The largest positive value from all lines is displayed. For example, if the scheduled date is 09/01 and the ATP date is 09/15, the value is 14; if the scheduled date is 09/01 and the ATP date is 08/15, the value is -15. Since there can be different ATP dates per line as well as different scheduled dates per line, the number displayed here is always the largest number calculated among the individual lines of the order. For example, if one line is 15 days early, and one line is 3 days early, the value displays here as -3 (-3 is greater than -15); or if one line is 3 days early, but another line is 5 days late, the value displays here as 5 (-3 is less than 5).
CTN Cubes - This column displays a calculated shipping volume for transfers. It is calculated the same way that volume is calculated for transfers on the Logistical Scheduling screen.
Order Date - written date of order

Calculations for Cubes and Weight are based on the quantity reserved, rather than quantity ordered.

Totals

The total fields display the number of pieces reserved and the sum of the data for the carton cubes column in the grid.

The # Pcs Reserved value is calculated by subtracting the number of pieces on back-order from the number of pieces ordered. (Pcs Ord – Pcs B/O) Intangible items are excluded from this calculation.

	Select an order line and then click the View button to access the read-only version of the transfer entry screen for the selected line.
	To update an existing transfer, select the line from the grid and then click the Maintain a Transfer button to access the Enter a Transfer screen. If you do not have permission to make changes to open transactions and/or do not have access to the locations involved via your user security settings, the security override window appears.
