Report Detailed Product Activity
(Product Activity)
Access
This report shows a period-to-date summary (typically
a month) of the activity for each product for which the Inventory Tracking
field is active in the Advanced
Product Settings. The report also shows a detailed listing of
each transaction that occurred during the current period and includes
the operator initials of the person who received the product. Activity
totals appear beside each product number, followed by breakdowns by warehouse
location.
The report is a hard copy of the information that appears in the Kardex
File. Selection is by one or all product numbers and by one or all warehouse/store
locations. You can generate a report for as-is
products or for products shipped directly from the manufacturer (direct-ship).
Once the run-time options have been selected, choose Run
to produce the report.
The output of this report may be affected by
Regional
Processing restrictions.
The run-time options for this report are:
Date CodeClick
on the Arrow button to view a list of date
codes, then select the code that best indicates the time period on
which to base your report.
Start DateIf you
select CUS at the Date Code field, you activate this field. Use
this field to specify the start date of the custom date range for which
you want to run this report. If you click on the Calendar
Icon, you can select a date from the calendar that appears.
If you select another date
code instead of CUS, this field fills in based on that selection and
you cannot edit this field.
End DateIf you
select CUS at the Date Code field, you activate this field. Use
this field to specify the end date of the custom date range for which
you want to run this report. If you click on the Calendar
Icon, you can select a date from the calendar that appears.

code instead of CUS, this field fills in based on that selection and
you cannot edit this field.
Region
LocationEnter the locations you want
to include in this report. If you know the code of the location, enter
it directly. If you click on the Arrow, you can choose a location from
the list that appears. If you select Multiple Locations from the list,
you access the Multiple
Locations Selection Window, from which you can choose one or more
locations. You can also access the Multiple Locations Selection window
if you click on the Action button. If
you click on the Search button in the Multiple Locations Selection Window,
you access the Multiple Selection Lookup Window. Use this window to select
all locations (that is, all locations available to you) by clicking on
Select All.
At this and any other Location field, the locations
you see (that is, the list of locations available to you) may be affected
by Regional
Processing restrictions.
ProductEnter the codes of the products
you want to include in this report. If you click on the Search button,
you access the Search
for a Product window where you can create a list of products for your
report. If you leave the field blank, you select all products.
Saleable/As-Is/Direct Ship

Send Output
toThe output destination of
the report displays. To change the output destination, click on
the Actions button and select Output
Settings.
Export PathIf you
select either the Personal
Report Viewer (PRV), Excel Export,
or ASCII Export, this field displays the pre-set computer drive and folder
location to which the system exports the report data. You cannot edit
the export path using this process.
