Reassign Sales Leads

Use this routine to reassign one or more sales leads to a different salesperson, for example if the original salesperson leaves your company.   

If you enter only the salesperson number, the program reassigns all lead records for that salesperson to the new salesperson. If you enter more detailed information, then only that subset of leads for that salesperson is selected.  The program creates a lead activity record is created for each lead record you reassign along with an entry into the Customer Comments file.  

 Reassigning sales leads to a new salesperson moves the contact, the quote, and the customer to the new salesperson while updating the appropriate fields in the Customer Settings such as the Salesperson field . The system reassigns only customers with open leads.
