Logistics > View Route Information
Use this routine to evaluate available routes by using the search criteria to search for route information. This screen can be accessed from the Main Menu or can be set up as a Dynamic Escape. The Search button is activated once search criteria is entered.
Use this field to search by the zip or postal code. This includes delivery, transfer and service routes assigned to that zip or postal code. You may use the exclusion check boxes below to exclude any of these types of routes.
Enter the route code for which to search or click the Search button to use the Route Code window to select a route code.
This is a mandatory field that defaults to today's date. Click the calendar icon to select a starting date from the calendar that appears.
This is a mandatory field that defaults to one month after the Starting Date. The maximum date is one year from the current date.
Check this box to omit from the search results routes that are closed or over capacity. This setting defaults as unchecked.
Check this box to omit from the search results all delivery routes. These route types will not appear in the grid. This setting defaults as unchecked.
Check this box to omit from the search results all transfer routes. These route types will not appear in the grid. This setting defaults as unchecked.
Check this box to omit from the search results all service routes. These route types will not appear in the grid. This setting defaults as unchecked.
The Search button is activated when search criteria is entered. Click to initiate the search. Search results populate in the grid.
If the search yields a significant
number of results (i.e., more than 1,000 rows), a warning message
about extended processing time is returned to the user. At this point,
the user can choose to ignore the warning and continue the search
as is or abort the search to narrow the search criteria.
Results of the search populate in this grid. Information is sorted by Date and by Route Code, although the grid can be re-sorted by any column. The information returned is based on the Route Capacity Calendar that exists for that day; if none exists, the information is obtained from the sources listed below.
When a service route appears
in the grid, the Unit columns display in hours and minutes as HH:MM.
Date - The date of the route.
Day of Week - The day of the week on which the Date falls.
Route Code - The route code assigned in Logistical Route Settings.
Status - The status of the route.
Open - route has capacity available for this day
Full - route has scheduled deliveries but is over capacity
Closed - route is either unavailable for this day or has been manually closed; this includes days that the route does not normally deliver. For example, if a route delivers only on Monday, Tuesday and Friday, this route shows in the grid as Closed Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
Route Type - The route type associated with the route code assigned in Logistical Route Settings.
Description - The description of this route as established in Logistical Route Settings.
Maximum Stops - The highest limit of stops for this route type this day as established in Route Capacity Settings.
Actual Stops - The number of currently scheduled stops for this route.
Open Stops - The number of available stops for this route.
Maximum Volume - The highest volume limit for this route type for this day as established in Route Capacity Settings.
Actual Volume - The volume amount currently used for this route.
Open Volume - The volume amount available for this route.
Maximum Units - The highest limit of pieces for this route type for this day as established in Route Capacity Settings.
Actual Units - The number of pieces currently scheduled for this route.
Open Units - The number of pieces that can still be scheduled for this route.
Maximum Dollars - The highest dollar limit for this route type for this day as established in Route Capacity Settings.
Actual Dollars - The dollar amount currently scheduled for this route.
Open Dollars - The dollar amount remaining for this route.
