Sales Analysis Report Control Settings

STORIS references the settings in this routine
when creating and generating sales
analysis reports. Using the Create
a Sales Analysis Report (SABRE Report Manager) routine, you can construct
analysis reports of written, delivered, and/or returned business from
these details.
Periods of Data RetentionEnter the number of months
for which to maintain written and delivered sales analysis detail records.
If you leave this field blank or enter zero, the system collects no data.
The End
of Month process purges data that is older than the number of months
specified in this field. Therefore, STORIS advises setting this field
for three (3) months beyond the desired retention.
Include Service in Sales AnalysisTo include
customer service in sales analysis reports, check the box at this field.
Otherwise, leave the box blank.
Include Layaways in Sales
Analysis
Dollar-Only Adjustments to Written BusinessTo include
dollar-only adjustments as written sales figures as well as delivered
sales figures in sales analysis data, check the box. If you leave the
box blank, the system records dollar-only adjustments only as delivered
sales figures in sales analysis data. The system also includes the adjustments
in the salesperson activity data for written sales figures.
Use the following two fields together to specify
the zip code information you want to include in sales analysis reports.
Country CodeEnter
the code of the country for which you want to define zip code capture
settings.
Fields to CaptureEnter
the number of fields from the country’s zip code you want to capture for
sales analysis SABRE reports. For example, U.S. zip codes contain two
fields consisting of a 5-digit zip and a 4-digit suffix (for example,
12345-6789). To capture only the first field (12345) enter 1;
to capture both fields (12345-6789) enter 2.
