Support Files: Customer, Zip Code, Salesperson, Route Code and Freight Company.

Use this file to store additional shipping address information for regular customers who have multiple shipping addresses. For example, if the customer is an apartment complex management company or a housing development corporation, the customer may purchase merchandise that will be paid for by the company but delivered to multiple addresses.  Use this file to create ship-to records for each of the delivery addresses associated with the customer.

Customer NumberEnter the number used to identify this customer. A Customer file record must already exist for this customer.

Ship-to NumberEnter the number used to identify this ship-to location for this customer. Each ship-to location number for this customer must be unique.

NameEnter the name of the person to receive goods delivered to this Ship-To location.

Address 1Enter the first line of this Ship-To address.

Address 2Enter the second line of this Ship-To address, if necessary. This field is for P.O. Box, Dept., etc., not city, state and zip code.

Zip CodeEnter the zip code for this Ship-To address.

CityThis field will default to the city listed in the zip code file record for the above zip code. You may override this default if the city for this Ship-To address is different.

StateThis field will automatically default to the state listed in the zip code file record for the zip code entered above.

Alternate Tax IDThis field is used with the Alternate Tax Interface to Vertex. It is used to display the 10 digit code assigned to the taxing area based on the ship-to address and zip code. This number is used by Vertex to determine the tax jurisdictions to use when calculating taxes.

Home PhoneEnter the home telephone number of the contact for this Ship-To location.

Work PhoneEnter the work telephone number of the contact for this Ship-To location.

Work ExtensionEnter the work telephone extension of the contact for this Ship-To location.

ContactEnter the name of the person to contact at this Ship-To location.

CarrierEnter the freight company code of the carrier that you normally use to deliver goods to this ship-to location. The code entered in this field must already exist in the Delivery Company Settings.

Ship InstructionsEnter any special instructions for delivering merchandise to this Ship-To location.

Extra Ship InstructionsEnter additional special instructions to be followed when delivering goods to this Ship-To location.
