To print line item text on sales and exchange forms, you must add the associated data element to those forms in the Forms Designer. Then, when printing sales and exchange documents, the Forms Designer searches for line item text using the above hierarchy and applies the first text found (if any).
You can enter up to 8 lines of alphanumeric text with a length of 40 characters per line.
The Delete button deletes all line item text including any multi-lingual text.
The program does not save line item text until you save out of the order-entry routine.
When reprinting an open order or exchange, if line item text has been edited for an item, the process prints the current line item text and not the text from the initial printing.
