The read-only version of this screen appears when accessed through a view-only version of the routine, such as View Warehouse/Store Settings. In this version, you may only view the currently available language(s).Use this screen to specify one or more language translations of the selected field in the current routine. The grid contains a row for each available language. For more information on the languages available to you, contact STORIS.
The language that displays for the log-on user is controlled by the Language field in the User file. If a description does not exist for that language, the system uses the English version. If the English version does not exist, no description appears.
Multi-Lingual Processing supports multiple translations at selected fields, for example the Description field in many file maintenance routines. That is, if using Multi-Lingual Processing and you have multiple translations at one or more Description fields, the system imports or exports specific descriptions based on the language you specify during the import or export process.
