General Ledger Accounts

Access

Use this routine to indicate the GL accounts to use when posting receivables, earned interest, and unearned interest for this installment plan. Entry in these GL posting fields is mandatory.

ReceivablesEnter the GL account number where long term receivables is to be posted for the selected plan. You can click the Search button to access the Read-Only Lookup Window, from which you can select an account, or click the Action button to access the GL Account Entry Screen.

Earned InterestEnter the GL account number where earned (cycled) interest is to be posted for the selected plan. If you click the Search button you access the Read-Only Lookup Window, from which you can select an account. Click the Action button to access the GL Account Entry Screen.

Unearned InterestEnter the GL account number where unearned (activated) interest is to be posted for the selected plan. You can click the Search button to access the Read-Only Lookup Window, from which you select an account, or click the Action button to access the GL Account Entry Screen.
