View File Attachments

Access

To view an attached file, the paper clip icon at the top of the screen or tab must be active. An inactive paper clip icon indicates no attachments are ready to view, and if you click on the Actions button, the View Attachments option is inactive. To activate the paper clip, you must either access a record to which a file is attached, or if a grid is on the screen, select an item in the grid with an attachment.

When you select View Attachments from the Actions menu, if only one attachment exists, the system opens it directly. If multiple attachments exist, the View Attachments window appears including a grid displaying the file attachments. To view an item in the grid, double-click on it. To return to the original screen, click on the exit button on the View File Attachments window.
