Training FAQs

This topic contains a list of questions frequently asked by STORIS users about training. If you click on a question, the answer appears. Please note that more than one solution may exist for a given situation. Read the answers completely to determine which method best suits your company's needs.

If you are a registered user of the STORIS Customer Service Web Site, you can schedule your training via the web by visiting http://support.storis.com.

Access the Login page and log in to the secure web site.
Once you are logged in, click Training located in the top navigation bar, then Training & Registration.
Click the link of the training class you wish to attend and you are taken to a screen with more details about the selected training.
Select the date of the training you wish to take, then click Add to Schedule.
Select your company name from the drop down menu, then click Get users for this company. Select the users then click Review Final Registration.

If you have already scheduled training with STORIS, you can use the View Pending Class Schedule link to view the training class schedule for your company.

Visit http://support.storis.com and access the Login page to log in to the secure web site.
Once you are logged in, click Training located in the top navigation bar, then View Pending Schedule, where your training schedule appears.

The people who make decisions in your company should attend STORIS training. We suggest that an accountant, a warehouse manager, a buyer, and a sales manager attend training.

If your Project Coordinator is not available, please log a Help Line case with STORIS and a representative will contact you. Click here to access the STORIS web site, where registered users can log Help Line calls.

You can train your staff on your STORIS Learn account. STORIS strongly recommends you restrict your Live account to data processing, and use a Learn account for all testing and training.

Server Clients

For Server clients, your server pre-loads with your own Learn account.
To access your Learn account, use the following login ID and password.

- The SCI login is "l1" and the password is "l1".

- The STORIS login is "L1" and the password is "L1".

Cloud Clients

STORIS cloud clients have access to a generic Learn account that is shared by all cloud users.
To access your Learn account, use the following login ID and password.

- The SCI login is "learn" and the password is "LearnASP".

- The STORIS login is "L1" and the password is "L1".

Use the Copy Live Data to Learn Account routine.

Important! Contact STORIS before using this process if your Live and Learn accounts are not on the same revision of STORIS. File structures vary between revisions and you may need assistance from STORIS to copy your Live account to a Learn account.

This routine is available only to systems running on a Windows®-based platform. For systems running on AIX, SCO, or HP platforms, contact STORIS for assistance. Click here to access the STORIS web site, where registered users can log Help Line calls.
