Quick Sale Control Settings
(Fast Cash Module System Control Settings)
Access
Use this routine to specify your preferences for
Quick Sale
Entry. The first group of settings determine how "quick"
you want your Quick Sale Entry process to be. For example, do you want
to collect customer zip code information from Quick sales? The final few
fields deal with printing options.
Automatic Stock AdjustmentsTo enable
operators to make automatic
stock adjustments when insufficient quantity exists in the system
to fill quick sale orders (including line items for obsolete products),
check the box. Otherwise, leave the box blank.
Note that a similar field exists in the Point
of Sale Control Settings for take-with orders.
Allow Line DiscountsTo allow
line discounts for quick sale orders, check the box. Otherwise, leave
the box blank.
Force Line Item AddIf you want the system to automatically add Quick
Sale merchandise line items to the grid, check the box. Otherwise, leave
the box blank.
If you leave the box blank, when you are processing a Quick Sale you have
the option to click the Add button for each of the products that were
selected or you can select Automatically
Add Selected Associated Products to have the items added automatically.
Prompt for TelephoneIf you
want the system to prompt for the customer's telephone number during Quick
Sale Entry, check the box. Otherwise, leave the box blank.
Prompt for Zip CodeIf you
want the system to prompt for the customer's zip code during Quick Sale
Entry, check the box. Otherwise, leave the box blank.

Verify User ID During Entry
In order to print thermal/slip print version of sales order forms ("FAST
CASH" Form Type in Forms Designer), both the "Print Receipt
on Slip Printer" and "Forms Designer" settings need to
be active.
Print Receipt on Slip PrinterTo print
sales receipts for Quick Sale orders on a slip printer,
check the box. Otherwise, quick sales orders print in regular form on
regular printers.
Forms DesignerTo enable
enhanced
laser printing capabilities for Quick Sale programs, check the box.
Otherwise, leave the field blank. Note that to access this field, a check
must appear at the Print Receipt on Slip Printer field.
The following fields are active only if you check the box at the Print
Receipt on Slip Printer field.
Print Product Description on Sales SlipIf you
want the system to print the product description on the sales receipt
during Quick Sale entry, check the box.
Source of Header on Sales Slip
Sales Slip TextUse this
text box to specify the additional text (if any) you want to appear on
sales slips for Quick Sale sales orders. You can enter an unlimited number
of lines. Any blank lines you enter in the text box also appear on the
sales slip.
