Micro*D PreVue

STORIS offers a direct interface with the Micro*D PreVue A STORIS add-on feature that allows you to link graphic images of products to their associated product records in STORIS. You can create graphical renditions of products for customers to view while considering their purchase options. You can also use the configurator to custom-build special-order options for products. Micro*D creates electronic product catalogs for vendors and distributors, often including a graphic image for each product they catalog. You install a catalog for a vendor or distributor onto your PC, then you use the MicroD Control Settings (Micro*D PreVue ACF ) routine to associate the catalog items with a Vendor in STORIS.

Next, use the Default Path for Micro*D Quote Documents and Images routine to specify a path to where you want to store the quotes you have created with EasyOrder. The default path is C:\STORIS\.

You can then access the EasyOrder Configurator from either the Enter a Sales Order (Sales Order Entry) or Enter a Purchase Order (Purchase Order Entry) routines to help create sales quotes or purchase orders for special-order items in STORIS. You access EasyOrder from the Action button at the Product field of each routine. For instructions on using the EasyOrder Configurator, consult the EasyOrder Help manual.

You cannot edit existing quote documents. If you have a line item selected and you attempt to access EasyOrder, an error message appears. You must delete the old quote and create new one using the EasyOrder Interface.
