(STORIS Messenger Purge)

Use this routine to purge STORIS Messenger messages marked for deletion.  The program purges all messages deleted before a user-defined cutoff date.  To view a list of deleted messages for a selected user, access the Closed tab in the Send/Review Mail Messages routine.

This program runs during End-of-Month processing, purging all messages deleted before the number of days defined at the History Retention Days field in the STORIS Messenger Control Settings.

This process is available only to users with the Mail Administrator field enabled in their User file (Staff File) record.  

Cutoff DateEnter a cutoff date for the purge.  The program purges all STORIS Messenger messages with a deletion date prior to the date you enter here.

Once you specify a cutoff date, select Save to perform the purge.
