Purchase Order Kit Master Maintenance Screen

Use this screen to view and/or edit quantities on all hard kit A kit with selling and stocking restrictions designed to ensure that when ordered, all components of the kit are sold together from the same location. For example, you cannot edit the contents of a hard kit, nor can you substitute components of a hard kit on a sales order. masters associated with a purchase order.  You can edit the Quantity column in the grid.

You access this screen via the Actions button in a purchasing routine , for example Purchase Order Entry.  This option is active on the Actions button only if the following is true for the purchase order:

• the purchase order includes a hard kit master,

• the hard kit master has a check at either the Transmit or Acknowledgement fields in the Product Kit Settings, and

• no line items are active in the Product field (that is, in Purchase Order Entry).

 For hard kit masters with the Transmit field active in the Product Kit Settings, you cannot edit kit components except on partially received orders. In these cases, you can use the Purchase Order Entry screen to edit the quantities of the partially received components or delete the line items altogether.
