Message Review Screen

Use this screen to access STORIS Messenger messages. This screen appears via the Send/Review Mail Messages routine when you double-click on a grid item on either the Inbound, Outbound, Tasks, or Closed tabs.

The following displays for the selected message:

user ID of the sender
user ID of the recipient
subject of the message
date and time the message was sent

Indicate the action you want to take for the selected message. Depending on the type of message selected, some or all of the following options are available.

None = Take no action.
Reply = Send a reply message to the author of the selected message. The Reply or Forward Mail Messages window will display, and the original message text will display in the Text box. Enter your reply text into the Text box above the original message.
Forward = Send the selected message to another mail user or group. The Reply or Forward Mail Messages window will display. In the To field, enter the user or group ID of the recipient. The original message you are forwarding will display in the Text field. Enter any additional text above the original text.
Link = Access the STORIS document linked to the selected message. This option is available only if you access this screen via the Tasks tab in Send/Review Mail Messages.
Print = Print the selected message.
Move Back = Moves the message from the Closed tab back to the original tab where the message was received.

To delete a message, click the Delete button located at the bottom of the Message Review screen. A prompt appears asking you to confirm deletion. The system moves deleted messages to the Closed folder, where you can manually remove them from the system or purge them using the Purge Messenger Activity program.
