Use this inquiry to display total company quantities and individual warehouse/store location quantities for a selected product.

The information displayed on this screen may be affected by Regional Processing restrictions.

A counter above the Product field indicates a product list is currently active. The counter indicates which record in the list is currently being edited and the total number of records in the list. Use the Previous and Next buttons to move between items on the list.

For products with a check at the Kit Component field on the Settings tab in the Advanced Product Settings, Kit Component Only displays in the header area of this screen.

Enter the code of the product you want to view. If you click on the Search button, you access the Search for a Product window from which you can choose a product or create a list of products to view.

Once you select a product, the following display-only fields are populated:

Vendor
Vendor Model - The vendor model for the selected product appears, provided the log-on user has a check at the Search for vendors, view vendor name and model numbers field in the Extended Security settings. Otherwise, the vendor model does not display.
Brand

General Info

If the camera icon on this tab is active, you can click on it to view a picture of the specified product. If the camera is dimmed, no image exists for the product at this time.

Special Order Information

If you have assigned a Distribution Status code to this product via Advanced Product Settings, the code displays here. The codes assigned to products are used by sales order, exchange, and transfer entry to determine where merchandise is coming from (stock location) and whether or not it can be reserved at locations other than the selling location.

The manufacturer's suggested retail price displays here from product settings.

Locations

Available to Promise

Enter an integer from 1-99. The value entered here is used to adjust the ATP details so that the ATP Dates (both global and within the grid) are the first in which a minimum of the desired quantity is available to promise. This can be used to determine when quantities greater than 1 are available to promise. The value in this field defaults to “1” and the field is not accessible until a valid product has been entered.

The ATP Quantity displays the quantity available to promise on the ATP date. As a result, this is always greater than or equal to the desired quantity.

The date and quantity that display is the best ATP date found in the location list. If two locations have the same ATP date then the location used is the one with the best source of supply. The source is determined by the following hierarchy:

1) Current Stock

2) Stock Transfer

3) Unlinked and acknowledged purchase order

4) Unlinked and unacknowledged purchase order

5) New purchase order

If you are not using ATP calculations, you can use Dynamic Tab Settings to select an alternate Locations tab that does not display ATP information. Once you select the inquiry screen in Dynamic Tab Settings, you can remove the default tab IC.204.TAB and replace it with IC.207.TAB Stock Availability Inquiry at the Tab ID field. This tab does not display the Available to Promise information shown above and does not include grid columns for ATP Date and ATP Quantity.

This field displays the short description of the purchase status associated with the selected product.

Note that each purchase status code in STORIS includes a short description, and each product includes a purchase status (specified at the Purchase Status field on the Settings tab in the Advanced Product Settings).

For the selected product, the grid displays all locations and the availability information for that product in each location. For each location, the grid displays the following:
