This routine is a step in the delivery/transfer/service process that produces a printed report listing order information for a specified delivery, transfer, or service date. Use the list to consolidate items for picking from the warehouse for staging on a delivery truck.

Additionally, this program provides the option to auto-generate/update manifests directly from this process.

If the Assign Specific Pieces At field in the Point of Sale Control Settings is set to Creating Pick List, the creation of a pick list is required. If it is set to Ticket Print, pick list creation is optional.

This report does not include CPUs (customer pickups) or in-shop service orders. For those order types, use the associated delivery documents for picking purposes.

To reprint pick lists for orders on manifest, first remove the orders from the manifest, then reprint the pick lists and put the orders back on manifest.

The output of this report may be affected by Regional Processing restrictions.

Select the type of pick list to print. You have the following options:

Deliveries
Transfers
Service

Select the routes for which to print a pick list. If you click on the Arrow button, a list of available routes appears from which you can choose. If you click on the Action button, the Route Entry Selection screen appears which you can use to select one or more routes. If you leave this field blank, you select all available routes.

This field is active only if

the Route Mapping Interface is not active for the selected location (via the Mapping Active field in the Warehouse/Store Location Settings, or
you select Transfers at the Pick List Type field.

Select the trucks for which to print a pick list. If you click on the Action button, the Multiple Truck Selection screen appears which you can use to select one or more trucks. If you leave this field blank, you select all available trucks.

This field is active only if

the Route Mapping Interface is active for the selected location (via the Mapping Active field in the Warehouse/Store Location Settings, or
you select either Deliveries or Service at the Pick List Type field.

To update the manifest directly from this process, check the box at this field. Otherwise, leave the field blank.

This field is active only if enabled via one of the following settings on the Logistics tab in the Point of Sale Control Settings. This field is not active if Route Map Interface is active on the Inventory & Logistics tab in the Warehouse/Store Location Settings for the specified location.

To create a final pick list for the scheduled date, check the box at this field. To create a preliminary pick list for verification purposes only, leave this field blank. Note that to make the items on this pick list available to RF picking, you must check the box at this field.

If you check the box at this field and create a pick list, you submit the items on the list to RF picking. Once the items are in picking status, you cannot change the following on the orders:

    - delivery status

    - route/truck code

    - delivery date

To change any of the above, you must first remove the picking status via the Remove Items From Picking (Radio Frequency) routine. Then access the orders to make your changes.

Important! Orders without a route code or truck number are not sent to picking.

To print a confirmation label for each item selected on your pick list, check the box. Otherwise, leave the box blank. You can use the labels, for example, to identify the products selected for picking.

If you check the box, the program prints labels in the Avery #5363 format (1 3/8 x 2 15/16"). Note that to print confirmation labels, you must route the labels to a PCL-compliant printer (that is, printer control language compliant). The contents of the labels vary depending on factors like "is mapping active?" or "is this a transfer or delivery?".

If you check the box at this setting, the second description of the product (if one exists) prints on the pick list as an additional line below the current product detail line. If you leave this box blank, only the first description prints on the pick list.

The special order information and configurator information is only available when you choose to output the documents to the screen or to a printer. This information is not available for export to Excel, ASCII or to the Personal Report Viewer.

If you check the box at this setting, any special order information prints below the product description lines, and prints across the page up to a maximum of 132 characters. If more than 132 characters, the information wraps to the next line for as many lines as necessary. Configurator information, if any, also prints if the Add Vendor Model to Reports field is active in your Inventory Control Settings.

If you leave this box blank, special order information is not included on the pick list.

The additional information, when requested and existing for the product, prints after the current detail line containing the first description. It prints in the following order: 1) second description, 2) configurator information, and 3) special order information. The second description is printed underneath the first description in the same column. This order applies to the Pick List and Pack List.
