Change User Passwords
Access
Use this routine to edit user passwords. This routine
allows users to edit their passwords without accessing the Create
a User file. If you are a system manager, you can edit any password.
Otherwise, only the password of the logged in user can be edited.
If you accessed
this screen from the user
log in screen, the only fields available to you are the New Password
and Confirm New Password fields.
The user's password can only be changed via the Windows® change password
function if, in STORIS:
1.) the Use Active Directory Authentication
field in Security tab of General
System Control Settings is checked
AND
2.) the Exempt from Active Directory Authentication
field in the Security tab of Create
a User is unchecked.
User IDEnter the User ID of the
user whose password you want to edit.
Old PasswordEnter
the user's existing password. You cannot create a new password without
specifying the old password at this field.

Confirm New Password
