On-line comment tracking is an audit system that automatically tracks the entry, edit, and deletion of purchase orders and sales orders. You can also track selected fields. Use this program to select the fields you want to audit (track) for sales order and purchase order processing. You can update your list of fields at any time. Each time a user modifies a selected field, the following is added to this file for the specific transaction:
system date
operator's initials
original field contents
any new contents
To view/update tracked activity for
- purchase orders, use the Update Purchase Order Comments routine.
- sales orders, use the Update Order Comments routine.
If you delete or change orders during their initial entry session do not save your entries, the system does not track that activity. You must save the entries/orders for the system to track changes/deletions.
