Ashley does not guarantee inventory availability until purchase orders are created and acknowledged. You can use this field to indicate a quantity from 0-99 to be used as a buffer by the web service to reduce the likelihood of available to promise (ATP) dates being returned for dates when quantity is not actually available. The number you enter here is added to the requested quantity and the ATP date returned is the first date when the quantity required (buffer + requested) is available. A lower quantity buffer returns an earlier ATP date, while a higher value returns a later ATP date. It is recommended that you discuss this setting with Ashley.
You can also establish a quantity buffer for specific products via Advanced Product Settings.
Use this field to indicate how transit time is to be determined. If you check the box at this field, the transit time returned from the web service is used when calculating availability. If you leave the box blank, the transit time associated with the vendor (In Transit Days) is used.
Use Standard Lead Time if Error
Use this field to indicate how you want errors in processing handled. If you check the box, then errors occur due to time-out, authorization failure, unavailable stock, etc., the standard lead time is used in processing. If you leave this box blank, no lead time is returned.
This setting dictates the maximum amount of time, in minutes, that can elapse between the timestamp of the data set used by AFI and the processing of the purchasing advice. Valid entry is between 0 and 999 minutes. If the time period between the two is greater than this value, the purchasing advice is not processed. If this value has not been specified the purchasing advice is not processed.

These actions function whether or not the ATP Web Service box is checked. This allows you to test configurations before allowing them to be used during normal STORIS processing.
