Use this screen to identify specific accounts and/or ranges of accounts to which you want to grant users' access. You specify the user in the General Ledger User Permissions routines, and this screen prompts for root accounts, sub-accounts, or cost centers based on your responses to prompts in that routine .
You must specify at least one root account and at least one sub-account or cost center. Note that when specifying ranges, you can enter starting and ending accounts that do not need exist on file . Furthermore, when specifying multiple ranges, the system makes no check to adjust overlapping ranges.

The prompt name for the field below displays based on the account element specified in the General Ledger User Permissions routine. For example, if you specified Limit Root Account, the field below would be called "Root Account or Range".
