General Ledger Accounts - Insurance

Access

Use this routine to specify the GL accounts to be used when posting earned insurance and unearned insurance amounts for this insurance plan.  

Earned InsuranceEnter the GL account number where earned (cycled) insurance fees are to be posted for the selected insurance plan. If you click the Search button you access the Read-Only Lookup Window, from which you can select an account. Click the Action button to access the GL Account Entry Screen.

Unearned InsuranceEnter the GL account number where unearned (activated) insurance fees are to be posted for the selected insurance plan. You can click the Search button to access the Read-Only Lookup Window, from which you select an account, or click the Action button to access the GL Account Entry Screen.

When finished entering GL accounts, click the Save button to update your entries and return to the previous screen.
