Exiting this screen without entering a comment voids your discount/price override.This screen appears if the box at the Comment Required field is checked; and the discount or price override exceeds the price variance percentage that is set in any of the following settings:
Advanced Product Settings > Pricing tab
Warehouse/Store Location Settings > General tab
Point of Sale Control Settings > Pricing and Commissions tab
Use this screen to enter and/edit exception comments on products that you are required to enter an exception comment in the processes listed below. The comment entered is associated with the entire order, and not with a particular line.
Enter a Sales Order > Merchandise tab
Enter a Quick Sale > Merchandise tab
Enter an Exchange > Sell Merchandise tab
Enter a Service Order > the Parts, Labor, and Charges tab
