To provide users with the option to email a copy of a sales document at the time of printing, activate the Email Sales Document feature. Note that this feature is not available for Cloud clients.
The following fields and screens affect the Email Sales Document feature:
"STORIS Server Can Send Emails" (Notifications Control Settings) - Activates the Email Sales Document feature.
Various fields on the Notifications Control Settings screen - specify your preferences for emailing sales documents. You must respond to email-related prompts on this screen before you can email sales documents.
Print Options Window - this screen appears at document print time with the option to email the document. If you leave the STORIS Server Can Send Emails field blank, only the option to print the document appears at print time.
If you exit the Print Options window without emailing the document, you can access the open document again via the entry process and click the Save button to access the Print Options window.
For each email sent, the system pulls the 'To’ name and email address from the customer associated with the sales document, but you can override this information. The “From” address defaults from the Notifications Control Settings.

When emailing documents, if Forms Designer is not your selected form, the system uses the standard STORIS sales document template.
