EMV Terminal Selection

Use this routine to assign a payment terminal for the current session. The grid displays all available payment terminals based on your logon location. You can double-click to choose a payment terminal from the grid. The terminal you choose displays in the area above the grid and replaces the previously assigned terminal until either you choose a different payment terminal or until you log off.

The unique alphanumeric identifier that is assigned to the payment terminal with the Shift4 UTG displays here.

The description of the terminal ID is displayed here from EMV Terminal Settings.

If Yes displays here, it indicates that the payment terminal is capable of capturing signatures digitally. If No is displayed, it indicates that the payment terminal is not able to capture electronic signatures.

The grid displays the following for all available payment terminals based on your logon location.

Terminal ID - ID of the payment terminal
Description - Description of the payment terminal
Signature Capture - Yes indicates that the payment terminal is capable of capturing signatures digitally; No indicates that the payment terminal is not able to capture electronic signatures.

To change the currently assigned payment terminal, double-click to choose a payment terminal from the grid. The terminal you choose displays in the area above the grid and replaces the previously assigned terminal until either you choose a different payment terminal or until you log off.
