Consolidate Picking Maintenance

Use this routine to allow an RF picker to select merchandise for multiple trucks belonging to the same dock location. Note that this process is not necessary if RF picking is set to aisle. This process is not necessary if one or neither of the following settings are checked in the Warehouse Management tab of Bar Code Control Settings: RF PICKING - Customer Deliveries by Route and RF PICKING - Merchandise Transfers by Route. Information accumulated here is purged after the number of days set in the Consolidated Picking Purge Days field in Bar Code Control Settings.

Use the drop down menu to select an available location for the consolidated picking reference. Locations listed here only include RF picking active locations (set in the RF PICKING - Activate at this location setting in the Barcode page of Warehouse/Store Location Settings). AWM active locations are excluded.

Use this free text field to enter the dock location. This is the location entered in the RF picking screen to group trucks into a single entity.

Enter the delivery picking date or click the calendar icon to select a date from the calendar.

Use this field to enter the route or truck. The truck must be a valid truck on an existing manifest for the specified warehouse and delivery picking date. If routing is not active in your location, use the format WHSE-TRUCK; if routing is active in your location, enter only the truck reference and the system adds WHSE- when the item is added to the grid. This applies to deliveries as well as transfers. If an invalid or deleted route/truck is entered, a warning appears.

Once this field is accessed, the other fields in this process cannot be accessed. After entering into this field, click the green Plus button to add this entry to the grid.

The format of this entry is determined by the Route Map Interface setting in the Inventory & Logistics page of Warehouse/Store Location Settings.

This grid displays the routes/trucks associated with this dock location. To remove an entry, click the line to select it, then click the red Remove button.
