Complete Multiple Manifests

Use this routine to search for and complete multiple delivery, transfer, or service manifest documents. You search for manifests by several criteria, including warehouse, manifest type, truck, route, and date range. You can search for only one type (delivery, transfer, or service) at a time. Once the manifest documents have been listed in the grid, you can select the manifests to be completed.

Use this mandatory field to specify the locations of the manifests to be completed. You can complete multiple manifests for one, multiple, or all locations. This field initially defaults to your logon location. Click the Arrow button to select a warehouse location from a list of locations to which you have access or click the Action button to access the Multiple Location Selection Window, where you can select multiple warehouse locations or select locations by region.

Use this field to search for manifests by the type you specify. The field defaults to Delivery. Click the Arrow button to select the type from the following options: Delivery, Transfer, or Service. If you change the type at this field, any entries in the Truck and Route fields are removed.

Specify one or more trucks for which you are completing manifests, or leave the field blank for all trucks. You can click the Action button to access the Multiple Truck Selection Window where you can enter multiple truck IDs.

Specify one or more routes for which you are completing manifests, or leave the field blank for all routes. Click the Arrow button to select a single route, or click the Action button to access the Multiple Route Selection Window where you can enter multiple route IDs.

Specify the code that represents the date range of the manifests you are completing. The Date Code defaults to TDAY and fills in the Start and End Dates with today's date. You can click the Arrow button and select TMRW (Tomorrow) or CUS (Custom date range). When you select TMRW, tomorrow's date fills in the Start and End Date fields. If you select CUS, you enter the Start and End Dates.

To search for manifests for a range of dates, select CUS at the Date Code field and then click the calendar icon at this field to choose the starting date. If you selected a different date code, this field populates based on the code and is not available for change.

Following selection of the criteria for your search, click this button to populate the grid with all manifests that meet your selected criteria.

Manifests selected using the specified criteria are listed in the grid. To complete a manifest listed, double-click the line in the grid. The Complete the Delivery Manifest Process, Complete the Transfer Manifest Process, or Complete the Servicing Process screen appears, depending on the type of manifest selected.

Warehouse - The warehouse location for each manifest displays in this column.
Date - The manifest date is displayed.
Route - If a route was specified, rather than Truck, the route code displays in this column.
Truck - If a truck was specified, rather than Route, the truck code displays in this column.
Stops - The number of stops indicated on the manifest is displayed.
Document Type - The type of manifest document is displayed. For example, Delivery manifests display "DL" in this column.
