Twilight Discount Pricing Settings

Use these control settings to create and edit your twilight discount pricing scheme. Twilight discount pricing applies to As-Is inventory only. You set up a discount scheme in which product prices decrease over time for items that remain unsold.

You can also apply Twilight pricing via the Category Settings. Twilight pricing by category overrides any twilight pricing you specify here.

Based on the response in the Period Measurement field, enter the amount of time that must elapse before the system applies twilight discount pricing. For example, if you set your reduction period to 7 days, the system applies twilight discount pricing on the 8th day. For continuous twilight pricing (for example, every 7 days until an item is sold) the table must be built so that each twilight period builds upon the prior desired amount of time (in this case every 7 days): 7 days 14 days, 21 days, 28 days, etc.

To edit an item, double click on it in the grid. To enter a new discount, click on Add or Clear until the Reduction field is empty.
