Velocity Settings

• Merchandising and Distribution > Inventory > Inventory Management > Advanced Warehouse Management  > Advanced Warehouse Management Settings > Velocity Settings

Enter up to 2 characters to create a new velocity code, or indicate the existing code to edit. If you click the Action button, you can select an existing code from the Read-Only Lookup Window.

Enter up to 30 characters to describe this velocity code. If you click the Action button, you access the Description Field - Language Translation Entry screen, where you can enter a multi-lingual description.

To update the grid with new or edited codes, click the Add button.

The grid lists existing velocity codes, along with their descriptions. To edit a code's description, double-click the line to select it from the grid. Grid items are listed in order of precedence. Use the promote/demote buttons next to the grid to change the order of the velocity codes listed.

The order in which items are listed in the grid determines their precedence. To change the position of a line, select the line in the grid and then click the Down Arrow button to move it down one line, or the Up Arrow button to move it up one line.
