Price Matrix Usage Codes

The following are valid options for the Price Matrix Usage Code field in the Customer Price Settings.  "Factor" represents the value in the Factor field in the Customer Price Settings

1. Price * Factor: The factor is a percentage - multiply it by the selling price in the Advanced Product Settings.   

2. Price - Factor: The factor is a dollar amount - subtract it from the selling price in the Advanced Product Settings.

3. Price + Factor: The factor is a dollar amount - add it to the selling price in the Advanced Product Settings.

4. Price = Factor: The factor is a dollar amount - substitute it for the selling price in the Advanced Product Settings.  

5. Sales Written Cost * Factor: The factor is a percentage - multiply it by the average cost in the Advanced Product Settings.  

6. Sales Written Cost + Factor: The factor is a dollar amount - add it to the average cost in the Advanced Product Settings.

7. Replacement Cost * Factor: The factor is a percentage - multiply it by the replacement cost in the Advanced Product Settings.

8. Replacement Cost + Factor: The factor is a dollar amount - add it to the replacement cost in the Advanced Product Settings.

Since special-order products have no replacement cost, do not use the replacement cost options with special-order products.

The following usage codes cause the Use Lowest Price field in the Customer Price Settings to inactivate:

    - usage codes based on cost (for example, Replacement Cost * Factor)

    - usage codes that cause a price increase, including Price + Factor and Price * Factor (provided the factor is greater than 100)
