Serial Number Entry Window

If the product is serial-tracked, as-is A status of inventory. Most inventory is considered "regular" inventory. As-is inventory includes everything other than regular inventory, including floor samples, damaged and clearance items, etc., or special-ordered, this screen appears when you click on Add to add the product to the grid.  Use this screen to select specific pieces by serial/reference number. Note that STORIS does not accept spaces in serial numbers, and this screen does not accept serial numbers that start with zero (0).

ProductThe product specified on the previous screen appears. You cannot edit this field in the current screen.

Serial NumberEnter the serial number you want to assign to this piece. If you enter a number that does not exist in the system, a warning message appears but you can continue. If you click on the Action button An outlet to additional routines and functions. Identified by a blue button with a white ellipsis, Action buttons appear next to fields., you can choose a serial number from the list that appears. If no serial numbers exist for this product, a warning message appears.
