Print Mailing Lists
(Print Mail Labels/Proof)
Access
Use this routine to produce mailing lists. You
create mailing lists in the Create
a Mailing List routine, then use this routine to export the list to
an Excel® or an
ASCII file, which you can then use to print the list using your preferred
third-party software.
If you print lists for a customer, the
system updates the Total Number of Mailings field in the Update
Customer Mailing Data (Customer History Maintenance) routine for that
customer.
Date of MailingEnter the date for the current
mailing. Today's date defaults, but you can edit this date. If you click
on the calendar icon, a calendar appears from which you can select a date.
The date you enter here updates the Date of Last Mailing field in the
Update Customer Mailing Data
(Customer History Maintenance) routine, and thus can be used later as
selection criteria for future mailings.
Name of MailingUse this
optional field to enter a name for the current mailing (for example, Summer
Sale). The date you enter here updates the Name of Last Mailing field
in the Update Customer Mailing
Data (Customer History Maintenance) routine, and thus can be used
later as selection criteria for future mailings.
Mail List NameEnter
the code of the mailing list you want to export. If you click on the Search
button, a menu of mailing lists appears from which you can make a selection.
List Information
Send Output toThe output
destination of the report data appears. To select a different output destination,
click on the Actions button and select Output
Settings from the menu that appears.
Export Path
To produce the labels, click on Run.
