Use this screen to view and update detailed information for sales, service, and transfer orders containing pieces with a status of Not Complete. You can use this screen for individual pieces of product or for all Not Complete pieces on the order.

Note: Not all product types (bulk, non-inventory for example) are applicable for all information on this screen.

The document number and type of document (sales/delivery, transfer, etc.) display here and cannot be changed.

The customer or account name displays here and cannot be changed.

If you are updating details for a single product, the Product ID displays. If you are updating all items that are not complete, the screen displays an ellipsis (...) in this field.

Use this field to enter text explaining the reason the piece was not completed. The system records the text you enter here as an order comment and you can view it in the Update Order Comments screen.

To apply changes (for example, complete or not complete) to all pieces of the selected line item, check the box. Otherwise, leave the box blank.

This field is not active for non-inventory products. To indicate that pieces with a status of Not Complete should be released from their unassigned status on the order, check this box. Note that if sufficient quantities are available, the Reserved status is retained. The default setting for this field is determined by the setting in the Unassign Piece Not Completed field in the Point of Sale Control Settings. If the Unassign Piece Not Completed field is set to Yes or No, the box at this field is checked or not checked accordingly, but you cannot change this field. If Prompt was selected in the control settings, this field is active and you can check or uncheck the box. You can apply this setting to a selected piece or to all pieces in the grid by checking the All Pieces for Line Reference check box. Also note that if you enter a reason code in the Add To As-Is Reason Code field (see below), this field is automatically checked.

This field is not active for bulk or non-inventory products. To assign the As-Is status to items on the order that are not complete, specify an As-Is reason code in this field. Click the search button to access the Read-Only Lookup Window, where you can select a reason code. If you check the box at the All Pieces for Line Reference field above, you apply the As-Is status and code to all products in the grid with the same reference number. Otherwise, this field applies only to the selected product. Also note that if you enter a reason code here, the Release Pieces Not Completed field above is automatically checked.
