PDA
Terminating Minutes if IdleEnter
the number of minutes you want to expire before Mobile Vision devices
time out due to inactivity. When a device times out, you must turn the
power back on before you can re-establish contact with STORIS.
Pocket PC Cart Retention DaysEnter
the number of days you want STORIS to retain pocket PC cart information
in the system before the purging. The system purges pocket PC data during
End-of-Day (EOD) procedures. For example,
if you enter 60 here, the system purges all pocket PC data 60 days old
or more each time EOD procedures are run.
Change Price with Lower Current PriceIf you
check this box, when you convert a shopping cart to a sales order, the
system compares the price of the product in the shopping cart with the
current price of the product in the system and uses the lower of the two
as the default for the sales order. That is, if the price has been reduced
since the cart was issued, the system uses the lower price. If you do
not check this box, the system uses the cart price as the default for
the sales order. This field applies only to carts created on Mobile Vision
devices.
Default QuantityEnter
the default quantity you want to appear for line items in shopping carts.
You can enter zero (0) or one (1). If you enter zero (0) here, items on
the Mobile Vision device with a quantity of zero remain in the shopping
cart but do not convert when moving to Sales Order Entry. Items with a
quantity of one or more do convert to Sales Entry. If you enter one (1)
here, the system removes items with a quantity of zero from the shopping
cart. This field applies only to carts created on a Mobile Vision device.
Current Software VersionThe current
software version appears. The system references the Device
Register routine to fill this field. You cannot edit this field.

Note that if you leave this field blank, customers will not display on

the number of days you want the system to retain eSTORIS

you enter 60 here, the system purges all eSTORIS shopping cart data 60
days old or more each time EOD procedures are run.

check this box, when users convert shopping carts to sales orders,
the system uses the current price in the system for each product. If you

This field applies only to shopping carts created on eSTORIS.
