Signature capture systems are used to make electronic copies of customer signatures for electronic transactions such as credit card processing. The customer signs an electronic screen, called the tablet, instead of paper. Use this routine to specify the image you want to appear on the tablet when the tablet is in power-save mode. You also use this routine to specify the disclaimer text you want to associate with customer signatures for credit card purchases.
If you select this field then click Save,
the system checks the Use Company or Location for Receipt field in the
Payment
Card and Device Settings to determine which text to use as the disclaimer.
If Company is selected, the system
uses the text in the Payment Charge Text and Payment Credit Text fields
in the Credit Card Processing settings file. If Location
is selected, the system uses the text in the Payment Charge Text and Payment
Credit Text fields in the Location
Settings.
